Description

The South African War Memorial, located in Burns Statue Square in Ayr, was created by sculptor Thomas Brock in 1902. It features a square-plan plinth made of granite, with a bronze relief panel on the eastern face. The memorial has a cornice and is topped with a bronze figure that faces east.
