Description

Ensieholm Bridge is a road bridge built in 1818 by mason Archibald Scott. It features a single large segmental arch that spans the River Esk, supported by a long southern abutment. The bridge is constructed from rubble with ashlar coping on the parapets. Both the parapets and the roadway are ramped, and the parapets have splayed approaches.
