Farm And Steadings, Knockencurr

Knockencurr is a late 18th century, 2-storey, 3-bay farmhouse constructed of painted rubble, with single farm buildings that create a courtyard to the northeast.

On the southwest elevation, the farmhouse features painted rubble walling and a 20th century timber gabled porch. It has single light windows with sash and case 4-pane glazing. To the left, there is a single storey rubble wing with a lean-to beyond. The building has good graded slate roofs, tall coped end stacks, a sandstone ridge, and cast-iron rainwater goods.

The northeast elevation is also made of painted rubble and includes an off-centre door, with single windows on each side and three regular windows on the first floor, mainly featuring modern glazing in a top hopper form.

The courtyard consists of two stepped ranges of single storey buildings, also made of painted rubble, with graded slate roofs and end skews, along with rooflights.
