Description
This early 19th century farmhouse is a two-storey, three-bay structure with the bays grouped towards the center. It is constructed of painted rubble with painted margins.
On the south elevation, there is a gabled brick porch addition at the center, featuring a boarded door on the east return and a window on the south side. The windows are regularly spaced, with a smaller window located at the center of the first floor. To the left, there is a drystone garden wall, and to the right, a garden gate.
The north elevation has a lower gabled jamb at the center and an enlarged window on the east return. There are small, modern flat-roofed additions in the re-entrant angles to the east and west. A corrugated iron shed is attached to the left side of the north gable of the jamb.
The east and west elevations are gabled and blank. The building features modern glazing, red sandstone coped skews, and painted rubble gablehead stacks on the east and west sides, as well as on the north jamb. The roof is covered with graded grey slates and has octagonal cans. There is also a single-storey stable and byre range to the north.
