Description

Later 19th century. 2-storey, with 1st floor breaking eaves, 3-bay house. Pebble-dashed. Painted dressings. Raised margins. Broad channelled quoin strips.

S (MAIN STREET) ELEVATION: doorcase at centre, with tablet and heavily consoled cornice; panelled door with fanlight. Canted windows, with cornice and blocking course, in bays to left and right at ground floor. Small window at centre at 1st floor; pedimented dormerheads to bipartite windows in bays to left and right.

W ELEVATION: window to outer left and right at ground and 1st floors.

E ELEVATION: gabled and blank.

Plate glass glazing in sash and case windows. Red sandstone coped skews. Pebble-dashed gablehead stacks to E and W. Purple-grey slates. Cast-iron rainwater goods. Octagonal cans.

RAILINGS: very low garden wall to W, with saddleback coping. Surmounted by cast-iron Art Nouveau railings; similarly detailed gate.
