Description
A windmill and associated barn, likely dating from the late 18th century. The windmill is a roofless, rubble-built tower approximately 25 feet high, featuring a square-headed doorway and some small, blocked windows. No sails or internal features remain within the windmill. The barn is a very large, two-storey, rubble-built structure with a slate roof, sandstone ridge stones, and skews. A blocked drive-shaft hole aligns with a similar opening in the windmill, suggesting a former connection. A single-storey wing extends to the rear, displaying a stepped gable and a lean-to section. A metal staircase is positioned above the barn’s entrance.
