Description
Lagganhill is a late 18th century single-storey farmhouse featuring three bays, with a long rectangular steading attached at the rear. The farmhouse is constructed of whitewashed rubble, accented by contrasting painted ashlar margins. On the southeast elevation, there is a central gabled porch flanked by sash windows with 12-pane glazing. The roof has straight skews and end stacks, while a lean-to structure adjoins the northeast gable.
The steading, which is now partly used for domestic purposes, has openings primarily facing northeast, including square-headed doors, a window, and a cartway. A triangular ventilator is located in the northwest gable. All roofs are slated.
