Description
Bridge House is a mid-19th century symmetrical villa located in a prominent position at Townhead bridge. The building has two storeys over a basement and features three bays. It has a central doorcase with pilasters, a panelled door, and a fanlight above. The ground floor includes tripartite windows in projecting square bays, while the first floor has single windows. The exterior is constructed of whin rubble with contrasting ashlar margins and features single-pane sash windows. The villa has two-bay flanks, end stacks on ramped bases, and a piended roof covered with graded slates. It is set behind a cast-iron-railed boundary along the street.
