Description

The Royal Bank of Scotland in Langholm was built by Alexander Fraser of Dumfries between 1863 and 1864. This three-storey bank features thin Scots baronial detailing and has an asymmetrical design. It includes square and segmental-headed windows, some of which are mullioned, and has plate glass sashes. The exterior is made of stugged ashlar with a polished finish.
