31 North Main Street, Wigtown

31 North Main Street in Wigtown is an early 19th-century, two-storey, three-bay house that includes a shop on the ground floor, forming part of a terraced street. The building is constructed from granite blocks with whinstone pinning in an Aberdeen bond style. The shop front features a tripartite design with a recessed door at the center, a roller shutter shop blind, and plate glass shop windows along with a fascia board. To the outer right, there is a pend entrance with a plate glass fanlight. On the first floor, there are three windows with plate glass deadlights. The roof is covered with grey slates, and the building has ashlar coped skews with blocked and sneck stacks, as well as sandstone stacks. There is also a single-storey extension at the rear.
