Description

Earlier 19th century. 2 storeys, 5 (3 + 2) asymmetrical bays. Polished grey ashlar, channelled at ground, rusticated over square-headed openings. Off-centre main doorway in architrave with consoled cornice, recessed door with round-arched fanlight: one other door: all windows 12-pane sashes (1 blind in 1st floor); upper windows in architraves with string at cill level. Eaves course; cornice; straight skews; slate roof

(lower at left). Some bronze plaques on wall, and barometer (presented 1863) to right in round-arched panel.
