Description

76 High Street in Sanquhar is an earlier 19th-century building featuring two storeys and three bays, with an additional first-floor bay to the left over a square-headed pend. The exterior is made of painted droved ashlar. There are two inner doors, each with a rectangular fanlight, and the outer shop windows have panelled jambs, a shallow bowed cornice, and a fluted frieze. The first floor has a cill band and 4-pane sash windows. The building also has a cornice, end stacks, and a slate roof.
