Description

Maple Cottage is a later 19th century single-storey, three-bay cottage located in Old Minnigaff, Minnigaff. The exterior is pebble-dashed with rendered margins and features jerkin-headed gables on the east and west sides, along with deep eaves. There is a substantial piended addition to the north.

On the south elevation, there is a round-headed window at the center, which may have originally been a door, set in a gabled bay that includes brackets and kingpost detailing. The outer bays contain windows.

The east elevation has an addition on the right side, with two windows positioned to the right of a blank cottage gable.

On the west elevation, there is a window to the right of the cottage gable. The addition is recessed to the left, featuring a door to the right and a window to the left and center.

The north elevation is blank. The cottage has modern glazing with mock astragals. Decorative wrought-iron finials are present on the east and west sides, as well as on the gabled bay to the south. The roof is covered with purple slates.
