Description

302 Colinton Road is an 18th-century cottage that was renovated by Ron Galloway in 1996. It is a single-storey, three-bay structure with a gabled roof and gablehead stacks. To the west (left), there is a two-bay piend-roofed addition from 1996. The front of the cottage features random rubble, while the other sides are rendered.

The central entrance has a timber boarded door flanked by windows, and there is a similar door in the inner bay of the extension, with a window in the outer bay. The windows have 12-pane glazing in timber sash and case frames. The stacks are coped and rendered, topped with single clay cans, and the skews are ashlar coped. The roof is covered with graded grey slate.

The boundary wall features modern low, stepped construction with cast-iron railings.
