Description
David J Chisholm, dated 1938. Single storey and attic, 5-bay, rectangular-plan bank. Painted harl with ashlar margins and dressings; chamfered reveals. Deep base course; rusticated quoins; eaves cornice.
NE ELEVATION: 3 bays. Door with flanking narrow windows at centre; large windows in outer bays. Modern fascia sign running directly under eaves. 3 large square dormers grouped at centre of roof.
SE ELEVATION: steep gable with flat-roofed projection to outer left; window to left of centre at ground; cash-point machine in recess immediately to outer left.
NW ELEVATION: steep gable, window at ground outer left; narrow window to right at gablehead, raised cill.
SW (REAR) ELEVATION: 3-bay; advanced taller, half-piend roofed addition at centre; date plaque 1938 with moulded surround; large window to outer left. Window at ground outer right, square dormer above; window at ground to outer left bay.
6-pane over plate glass sash and case window; 4-pane over plate glass flanking door; 12-pane sash and case dormers. Steep, graded grey slate roof; ashlar coping to skews with scrolled skewputts; ashlar ridge; rendered, coped apex stacks.
BOUNDARY WALL: low stugged squared and snecked red sandstone wall with slab coping curving to left of building along Deanpark Brae.
