58, 60, 62 Marchmont Road, Edinburgh

58, 60, and 62 Marchmont Road in Edinburgh is a four-storey, five-bay tenement building designed by Thomas P. Marwick in 1889. It is constructed from squared and snecked pink sandstone, with polished red ashlar dressings. The building features a base course, a cill course at the second floor, and a cornice above the second floor. The third floor has pedimented dormer heads above bipartite windows, and the advanced bays are topped with facetted pyramidal roofs that have lead finials. The doorways are roll-moulded, and the doors are panelled with chamfered reveals.

On the north entrance elevation, the central bay has a doorway with a single window to the left, which is flanked by a margin-paned fanlight. Each floor above features bipartite windows. There is another doorway in the second bay with a plate glass fanlight and single windows above. To the right, a doorway is flanked by a single window in the outer right bay, also with a plate glass fanlight, and bipartite windows above. The first and fourth bays have full-height four-light canted windows, with dividing cill and lintel courses, and a string course at the third floor, topped by a cornice. The windows are plate glass sash and case, with leaded upper panels at the ground in the fourth and fifth bays. The roof is covered with grey slate and features a corniced wallhead stack, along with coped and rendered mutual stacks.

The interiors were not seen in 1991. There is a low boundary wall to the street.
