Description

33, 34, 35 Warrender Park Terrace in Edinburgh is a five-storey, four-bay tenement building, possibly designed by Thomas P Marwick in 1880. The building is symmetrical above ground and is part of a terrace. It features squared and snecked sandstone with polished ashlar dressings. Notable architectural elements include a base course, a string course at the first floor, and a corbel table at the fourth floor that steps down to the third floor. The doorways are roll-moulded, with panelled doors and plate glass fanlights, and the reveals are chamfered.

On the north entrance elevation, there are two doorways in the third bay, with bipartite windows above and a pedimented dormer head for the fourth-floor window. To the right of the doorway, there is a single window in the second bay, with bipartite windows above and a pedimented dormer head for the fourth-floor window. The outer left and right bays feature full-height canted windows, with dividing cornices and an eaves cornice leading to a pyramidal roof. The windows are plate glass sash and case, and the roof is covered with grey slate. There is a corniced wallhead stack, with dressings that have been replaced, and corniced mutual stacks.

The interiors were not seen in 1991. The boundary features coping with a few original railings along the street.
