Description

Later 19th century. 2-storey, 2-bay near-symmetrical former coach-house. Random rubble sandstone walls with stugged and droved sandstone dressings.

N (PRINCIPAL) ELEVATION: near-symmetrical; segmental cart-arch with 2-leaf doors at ground in bay to left; modern sliding door at ground in bay to right; regular fenestration at 1st floor.

E GABLE: rubble loft stairs with ashlar quoins and steps rising to door, offset to left at 1st floor.

S (REAR) ELEVATION: asymmetrical 2-bay elevation comprising rubble-infilled window at ground in bay to left, window below eaves in bay to right.

W GABLE: obscured by modern addition.

4-pane fixed-lights to 2-light timber mullioned windows at 1st floor; Purple-grey slate roof; stugged ashlar skew-copes; stugged ashlar stack to gablehead. Modern roof ventilators.

WALL: random-rubble wall with saddleback cope, extending N from E gable.
