Riverbank Cottage, 20 Brae Park Road, Edinburgh

Riverbank Cottage is a mid 19th century, symmetrical single-storey cottage with a rectangular plan and three bays. It is constructed from tooled yellow rubble sandstone, featuring stugged and droved dressings, and projecting cills. The rear of the cottage is harled with painted margins.

On the entrance elevation, there is a single boarded timber door located centrally at ground level, with single windows in the outer left and right bays. The rear elevation also has single windows in all bays. Both elevations are fitted with 4-pane timber sash and case windows. The roof is made of graded grey slate and has raised stone skews. There are coped square-plan rubble apex stacks at both the north and south ends, with circular cans.

The interior was not seen during the inspection in 1996.
