Description

Earlier 19th century. Symmetrical 3-storey and basement 7-bay tenement. Cleaned cream droved ashlar sandstone with polished dressings. Base course; channelled masonry at ground with band course above; cill course to 1st floor; moulded eaves. Regular fenestration.

Steps oversailing basement area to panelled doors with rectangular fanlights at centre and penultimate bays; latter deep-set (umbrella fanlight to No 40) with blind windows above.

12-pane timber sash and case windows, many variants. Grey slates; rendered stacks.

RAILINGS: cast-iron railings; spearheaded to front.
