Description
Station Cottage, located at 17 Station Road in Kirkliston Village, dates from around 1840. This single-storey, three-bay cottage has a rectangular plan and is constructed of stugged, coursed sandstone with stugged margins.
On the main elevation, there is a panelled door at the centre, which features a letterbox fanlight with replacement glass, flanked by windows. A small roof-light is positioned at the centre of the roof. The windows are fitted with a 12-pane glazing pattern in sash and case style. The cottage has a grey slate roof, with ashlar coping along the skews and squared sandstone coped stacks.
