127 Warrender Park Road, Marchmont, Edinburgh

127 Warrender Park Road is a four-storey, three-bay tenement building, likely designed by Thomas Gibson around 1880. It features Baronial details and is part of a terrace. The building is constructed from coursed yellow sandstone with polished ashlar dressings. Architectural elements include a base course, cornices above the ground floor openings, a cill course at the first floor, a string course at the third floor, and an eaves cornice. The reveals at the ground and first floors are chamfered, while those above are stop-chamfered.

On the entrance elevation, the doorway is located in the second (central) bay, with a blinded balustraded apron above a single window on the first floor. There are single windows on the second and third floors, and a pedimented dormerhead that connects to a wallhead stack. The third bay features a full-height canted window, and the roof is a swept and facetted pyramidal design. The first bay has full-height bipartite windows, and there is a blank heraldic shield set in the gablehead, along with a stone finial. A niche is positioned between the tenements to the outer left. The windows are plate glass sash and case. The roof is covered with grey slate, and there are corniced wallheads and mutual stacks, along with gabletted skewputts.

The interiors were not seen in 1991. A low saddleback wall is present along the street.
