3 Wester Dalmeny Farm Cottages, Main St, Dalmeny

3 Wester Dalmeny Farm Cottages is a mid-19th century single-storey, three-bay vernacular cottage. It is constructed of random rubble with polished and droved dressings, and the rear is harled. The building features chamfered arrises.

The south elevation has three bays, with a modern timber door in the center flanked by windows in the outer bays. The east elevation includes a small window to the right, alongside a window in a harled flat-roofed addition on the outer right.

On the north elevation, there is an advanced bay to the right with a window centered in the gable. To the left, there is a harled brick lean-to coal shed with a corrugated-iron roof and a vertically-boarded timber door facing east. Additionally, there is a harled, flat-roofed later addition at the re-entrant angle, featuring a modern door at the center.

The west elevation is blank. The cottage has timber sash and case windows, a graded grey slate roof, and cast-iron and plastic rainwater goods. The gablehead stacks are made of coped ashlar, with circular cans, and the skews are also coped.
