Lodge St Margaret, 3 Stoneycroft Road, South Queensferry

Lodge St Margaret, located at 3 Stoneycroft Road in South Queensferry, dates back to 1671, with a later addition from 1866. The building has undergone significant alterations over the years. It is a two-storey structure, with the south elevation finished in harling and the north elevation constructed from rubble.

The south entrance elevation features blocked windows in the left bay, an entrance door with a forestair, a modern extension, and another door on the right side, while the rest of the range is blind. The west elevation has a blind gable end. The north elevation shows the older section with six blocked windows, while the 19th-century extension has three windows on the upper floor and a slight projection on the left. The east elevation also has a blind gable end.

The building has a slate roof with ventilators on the extension, a crowstepped skew on the original section, and a straight skew on the later addition. Coped stacks are present at the gableheads. The interior was not seen in 2000.
