Description

1, 2 Smith's Land in Dalmeny is an early 19th century, two-storey, three-bay dwelling house that has undergone recent renovations. The building is constructed of rubble with rough ashlar margins.

The west elevation, which is the principal front, features central two-leaf doors at both the ground and first floors, with a forestair leading to the first floor and flanking windows on either side. The north elevation has an adjoining building, while the east elevation was not visible in 2000. The south elevation presents a three-window front with regular fenestration on both the ground and first floors.

The windows are 12-pane timber sash and case. The roof is pantiled with straight skews and has stacks at the gableheads. The interior was not seen in 2000.
