Description

Later 19th century. Single storey and attic, symmetrical 3-bay villa with ornate cast-iron columns. Squared, stugged and snecked cream sandstone, ashlar dressings. Base course; timbermullions to canted windows; stop-chamfered arrises; bracketted cornice.

W (SUTHERLAND STREET/ENTRANCE) ELEVATION: segmental-arch doorpiece to centre, moulded reveals, 2-leaf panelled doors, fanlight. Canted windows flanking with eaves swept down to form porch between, supported on decorated columns with foliate flanged brackets. Small semi-circular headed dormer to centre flanked by large slate-hung dormers with bracketted eaves and gablet.

S (SIDE) ELEVATION: gabled with modern flat-roofed garage abutting.

N ELEVATION: gabled with modern window slapped to outer left. Unfortunate modern replacement windows. Grey slate roof, conrniced ashlar stacks to gables many original cans.
