119 Clyde Street West in Helensburgh is a mid-19th century, two-storey, three-bay symmetrical villa featuring classical details. The building is constructed of cream rubble with ashlar on the south elevation and includes ashlar dressings. It has a base course, architraved windows on the south side, pilaster quoins, a cornice, and a blocking course.

The south elevation, which faces Clyde Street West, has a central columnar doorpiece with an entablature and a fanlit door. Flanking this are corniced windows, with three symmetrically placed windows on the first floor.

On the west side elevation, there is a window in the centre and another to the left at ground level, with a window in the centre on the first floor. The north rear elevation has three bays and features a stair window in the centre. There is a modern single-storey flat-roofed extension attached to this elevation.

The east side elevation is obscured by foliage. The villa has modern windows and a grey slate piended roof, with corniced end stacks that are rendered and linted as ashlar, retaining original cans, and a roof-light on the north side.

The property is enclosed by low, ashlar-coped rubble boundary walls with square coped piers.
