Description

Earlier 19th century. 2-storey and attic, 3-bay symmetrical villa with lower 2-storey wing to W. Painted rubble; squared, coursed and stugged with ashlar dressings to S elevation. Base and eaves lintel courses; quoin strips; raised window margins.

S (ENTRANCE) ELEVATION: architraved doorway to centre, deep-set half-glazed modern door with plate glass fanlight, attractive timber lattic-work proch. Regular fenestration in remaining bays. Window at ground with smaller window above to wing to outer left.

E (GLASGOW STREET/SIDE) ELEVATION: window to centre at ground; blinded window to outer left; window above at 1st floor.

N (PRINCE'S STREET/REAR) ELEVATION: 3 widely spaced windows at ground and 1st floor; door blocked as window between window to centre and outer right. Wing to wing ato right with modern glazed door.

Mostly 12-pane sash and case windows. Grey slate roof, 2 gabled slate-hung dormers to S, timber bipartite windows; roof-light between; 2 similarly detailed dormers with bargeboard to N; rendered end stacks with polygonal cans; ashlar coped skews.
