60 Clyde Street East, Helensburgh

This early 19th century villa at 60 Clyde Street East in Helensburgh is a two-storey, three-bay building with a symmetrical design and a classical doorcase. The exterior is rendered and has a finish that resembles ashlar stone. The windows have plain margins, and the villa features low overhanging eaves and a quoin strip.

On the north elevation facing Clyde Street East, there is a columnar doorcase at the center with a decorative fanlight above it. There are windows on both the right and left sides of the door, and three windows are symmetrically arranged on the first floor.

The ground floor has plate glass sash and case windows, while the windows above have been replaced with modern versions. The roof is covered with grey slate, and it has ashlar coped skew, a tall gable stack on the right side, and a full-width dormer.
