Description

Earlier 19th century, with later 19th century remodelling. 2-storey

and attic, 3-bay near symmetrical tenement. Red sandstone rubble, rend ered to S elevation. Base course; raised margins; bargeboarded gables to attic windows; quoin strips.

S (PRINCES STREET) ELEVATION: doorway off-centre right, fanlit door. Window adjoining to right. Windows to outer bays. 3 windows at 1st floor. 3 dormer windows breaking eaves above with gabled dormerheads.

E (LOMOND STREET) ELEVATION: doorway to off-centre right. Window at 1st floor and attic to outer left. Small attic window to centre.

N (REAR) ELEVATION: deep curved stair tower projecting to centre, fishscale slate conical roof, swept at eaves, doorway to E.

Variety of glazing patterns; some 4-pane sash and case windows. Grey slate roof; ashlar coped skew to E gable with rendered coped stacks.
