Description

Post 1865. 2-storey, 3-bay, symmetrical villa, L-plan main block with single storey service blocks in re-entrant angle at rear. Harled with sandstone margins and dressings. Base course; quoin strips, projecting eaves, exposed rafters.

E (MAIN) ELEVATION: pilastered and corniced door at centre masked by later 19th century cehvron-boarded porch, lead pagoda roof, door on right return (lower replacement boarding); flanking windows. Dormerhead windows to outer left and right, centre window with taller gablet, eaves supported on either side by sandstone consoles.

N ELEVATION: blank gable to outer left, recessed jamb to right, windows at ground and 1st floor outer right, brick margins.

S ELEVATION: gable to outer right with window at ground and 1st floor at centre; gabled single storey service blocks with half-piended block against gable.

12-pane timber sash and case windows. Grey slate roof, lead flashings, harled and coped apex stacks, octagaonal cans; ashlar console skewputts.
