Description

Early 19th century. Single storey, 6-bay, rectangular-plan former hearse house (see Notes). Rubble with dressed ashlar quoins.

NE (COURTYARD) ELEVATION: wide 2-leaf door to centre with door in bay to left and window to outer left, further window to right of centre with 2 doors beyond, all doors boarded timber.

SE (KIRK WYND) ELEVATION: gabled elevation with large 2-leaf boarded timber door.

12-pane glazing pattern in timber sash and case windows. Grey slates. Coped ashlar stacks with cans; plain bargeboarding.

CARTSHED AND GRANARY: reconstructed 4-bay cartshed and granary to NW.

BOUNDARY WALLS: coped rubble boundary walls.
