Description
12 Deveronside in Banff is a house built in the later 18th century. It is a two-storey, three-bay structure with a two-storey, three-bay wing at the rear that adjoins High Shore. The house features harled walls with painted ashlar margins on the Deveronside frontage, while the reveals are painted elsewhere. The central entrance has a raised and fielded six-panel door, and there are timber sash and case windows with 12-pane glazing.
The rear wing was rebuilt around 1970 and includes a garage. The house has rubble end stacks and slate roofs.
Surrounding the property are garden walls made of coped rubble, which enclose the garden between Deveronside and High Shore.
