Description

6 DEVERONSIDE: later 19th century. 2-storey and attic, 5-bay building comprising dwellings and shop. Dark whinstone, red sandstone dressings, harled S return gable. Centre door with sidelights; flanking doors, at left (S) as compact 3-bay shop with centre door and windows; at right doorway and window. Regular 1st floor fenestration, the centre bay rising as gable with worn panel and apex stack.

2 canted dormers; 4-pane glazing in timber sash and case windows.

Coped end stacks; slate roof.

30A AND 32A HIGH SHORE: early 19th century, at rear of and linked to

6 Deveronside. 2 storeys on sloping site; mixed random rubble. Regular 5-bay rear elevation, bays 1, 3, 5 as raised basement lights with long lst floor openings above; bays 2 and 4 are tall doorways. Blocked opening; rear and side wallhead stacks; piended slate roof.
