Description
3 Water Path in Banff is an early 18th-century, two-storey house with an irregular three-bay design. It features a pend arch leading to a courtyard and is connected to Nos 2 and 4 Water Path. The exterior is harled with painted ashlar margins. The doorway on the south elevation, which faces the courtyard, has a raised and fielded panelled door. The pend entrance, which has a depressed arch with a keystone and blocked imposts, frames the street front leading to the inner courtyard. On the north elevation, there are three first-floor windows, which are timber sash and case windows with 6-, 9-, and 12-pane glazing. The house has a substantial harled ridge stack and a slate roof.
