Description

16 High Shore in Banff is a house dating from around 1800, likely incorporating some earlier materials. It is a two-storey, three-bay structure built of rubble with painted ashlar margins. The return gable is also made of rubble and features blocked doorways, while the rear of the house is harled. The entrance is centrally located, and the windows are regularly spaced, featuring 12-pane timber sash and case glazing. There are two windows on the first floor and a single small window on the ground floor at the rear.

The house has a corniced end stack and is topped with a slate roof that has a pottery ridge.
