33-35 High Street, Banff

33-35 High Street in Banff is an early 18th-century, two-storey and attic house that has been divided into separate dwellings. The building features five bays, with wings at the rear that have their own entrances. The exterior is finished in harled rubble with ashlar margins, some of which have been renewed. The outer bays are paired, and there is a central entrance with a panelled door. The house includes four small cat-slide dormers, which are paired in the outer bays, and has 12-pane glazing in timber sash and case windows. The slate roof has squat end stacks, with the stack at No 33 shared with No 31 High Street. Access to the rear of the property is through a pend arch of No 39 High Street. Additionally, there are reset early 18th-century datestones located in the wing at the rear of No 35.
