Description
17 Greenside in Leslie is an 18th-century house that has undergone later alterations. It is a two-storey building with a near square plan, harled exterior, and ashlar margins. The entrance door is located in the left bay of the east elevation, flanked by a small window in the center and larger windows to the outer right. On the first floor, there are two windows that break the eaves, prominently featured in later piend-roofed dormers. The rear elevation is not visible, and there is a lower, later property attached to the north.
The house features timber sash and case windows, with four-pane upper sashes and two-pane lower sashes. The roof is pantiled, with grey slates used for the dormers. Gablehead stacks and beak skewputts add to the architectural details.
