Description
42 Sandend is a cottage dating from the early to mid-19th century, with later additions. It is a single-storey, 2-bay structure built of rubble with contrasting painted margins. The entrance is located in the right bay, which is obscured by a projecting flat-roofed 2-bay addition that features a side doorway. The windows have 4-pane glazing. There is a single end stack and a corrugated-asbestos roof that includes a loft roof light. Additionally, there is a substantial modern lean-to garage at the gable, which is harled.
