The exterior is constructed of rubble with contrasting painted long and short dressings. The cottage features an off-centre door and a single window in the seaward gable, which also has a blocked attic window. There are two later piended wallhead dormers, and the glazing is mainly four-pane. The cottage has end stacks and a slate roof.
