Description

44 Sandend is an early to mid-19th century single-storey cottage with a dormerless attic, featuring a narrow three-bay layout. The building is constructed of rubble with contrasting painted long and short dressings. It has a central entrance with a panelled door, flanked by windows that have 12-pane glazing. There is a single wall ground floor and a small gable attic window. The cottage is topped with a slate roof that includes loft roof lights and has coped end stacks. To the right of the cottage is a small rubble fishing gear store, which has an entrance in the gable with a double-leaf plank door and a slate roof that also features a loft roof light.
