Gate Lodge, Spring Grove, Rosslea, Co. Fermanagh, BT92 7DN

The ruinous remains of a former gate lodge, situated opposite the southern entrance to the Spring Grove estate, stand aligned east-west. Originally likely a two-bay, single-story structure, the building is now largely collapsed, with only random rubble stone walls remaining. The roof is gone, and most openings are missing. A tongue-and-groove sheeted door is visible in the rear wall of the left bay. The site is shown on the 1834 Ordnance Survey six-inch map, with a depiction of a slightly larger building appearing on the 1857 edition. It is identified as a lodge on the 1907 Ordnance Survey six-inch map, and the building was probably erected in the 1820s. A unique corner chimney breast is the sole surviving feature of interest. The lodge is recorded as derelict and of vernacular construction. It was previously listed as HB12/01/059.
