Single storey derelict gate lodge perpendicular to Ballyquinn road. Building located behind hedge approximately 5m from road. Harled rectangular entrance pillars with stone cap at road. Modern agricultural gate. Low slate hipped roof partly overgrown by vegetation. Building constructed of rubble stone with decaying harling over. Projecting brick course at head. No gutter. Entrance door and two window openings to south facing façade beside former entrance path. Door opening at south west corner nearest road. Concrete cills to windows which do not project. Remains of a fixed casement window with high level opening light to easternmost window. Small window to western (road facing) elevation. Other elevations blank. Building situated in one corner of an agricultural field, no trace of boundary fences or outbuildings survive. Former entrance road little more than a track.
