Description
Two storey, two structural bay, end of terrace house with basement. Front elevation facing north west is located at the edge of the footpath without garden. Four steps rise parallel to the street to a platform at the entrance door. Simple wrought iron handrail. Door with segmental headed fanlight is enclosed by a plain plaster architrave with a projecting head above. A stone stringcourse above doubles as a cill for the first floor windows. The first floor windows are unadorned four pane sliding sashes. The window below to the ground floor is larger but similarly treated. Windows and doors align. Cast iron rainwater goods and natural slated roof. The rainwater pipe is on the junction with the neighbour number 11 (HB02/06/006B). The string course does not carry on across the adjacent fence. The gable facing south west has no openings and is surmounted by a large chimney simply detailed and having five pots. Ground level at the base falls steeply to the rear. The rear elevation faces south east. It has two twelve pane sliding sashes at first floor, a tripartite window and a four pane sash at ground level and a smaller tripartite, four pane sash and central single storey return at basement level. The basement opens out onto the rear garden. The remains of outbuildings are located in the garden which extends to the rear and around the side of the house to Main Street.
