Description

This was a former single-storey, two-bay gate lodge situated on Lurgan Road, Banbridge, originally serving Seapatrick House. Built around 1865, the lodge featured rendered (plastered) walling, a slated roof, and a hipped roof design. It had double-hung windows with glazing bars (g.b.) and an entrance, all enclosed within square, moulded architraves. Corner pilasters, rising to a plain frieze with wide eaves soffits, were also present. The lodge had a frontage of approximately 30 feet. Seapatrick House itself has been demolished. The lodge appeared on Ordnance Survey maps from 1903 to 1918. It has since been demolished. The listing exists as a Record Only and no architectural or historical interest has been assigned.
