Semi-detached two-bay one-and-a-half-storey concrete block house, built c.1915, gutted and enlarged to the east c.2010. Built as one of a pair within a cul-de-sac of 28 similar houses designed by William Larmour. Steeply pitched natural slate roof with terracotta ridge tiles and decorative finial. Exposed timber rafter feet to overhanging eaves throughout, timber bargeboards and cast-iron rainwater goods. Rock-face moulded concrete block walling with projecting concrete plinth course (unless otherwise stated). Square-headed window openings with flush concrete lintels, flush concrete splayed sills and uPVC windows. Single-bay front south elevation with projecting one-and-half-storey gabled projection. Tripartite window opening to the upper floor with a three-sided canted bay to the ground floor of the projecting gable with uPVC French doors and sidelights. West elevation abutted by adjoining house No.1. Rear elevation abutted by single-storey extension and garage with a single catslide dormer to the rear pitch. East side elevation rebuilt as a single double-height gabled elevation with simulated rock-facing cement rendered walling. Setting Located in a cul-de-sac of 28 similar houses on the east side of Lurgan Road laid out as a garden village. This house forms one of the more visible pairs of houses in the estate and accessed from the communal road to its east side elevation (now entrance elevation).
