Bridge, Doon & Eshcleagh / Tully / Eshnadeelada, Co Fermanagh

This is a small-scale bridge carrying a one-and-a-half lane road over a stream, located near Doon & Eshcleagh, Tully, and Eshnadeelada in County Fermanagh. Constructed in the mid-19th century, likely between 1840 and 1859, it replaced what was formerly a ford, as evidenced by Ordnance Survey maps from 1834.

The bridge consists of three flat spans, each less than 2 metres wide, making them more accurately described as culverts. Each span has a flat stone head. Two small piers extend slightly beyond the lintels and are rounded at the ends. The upper section of the bridge is built from squared sandstone rubble, with a coped parapet finished with finely dressed blocks of a slightly paler sandstone.

A short distance to the west, a second bridge carries the main road over another stream. This bridge also has two flat spans, with concrete abutments, piers, and heads. Its upper section is of squared rubble with oversailing coping stones.

The structure possesses industrial archaeological interest. It is owned by central government and is not formally listed.
