Description
This was a vernacular house located in the townland of Strananerriagh, Rosslea, County Fermanagh. The house was demolished, but valuation records indicate a one-storey vernacular building existed at the site. It is unclear when the building was extended to its final two-storey form. A survey from 25th May 1987 described the building as a two-storey, three-bay house with a pitched natural slate roof and corbelled brick chimneys between each bay. Galvanised gutters and a cast-iron downpipe were also present. The walls were harled with a lime wash finish over rubble stone. Each bay had a window to each floor, all modern painted timber T-plan casements, equally aligned but unequally spaced. The centre bay featured a tongue-and-groove sheeted door set to the left. The construction date is estimated to be between 1880 and 1899. The property is privately owned and is not listed.
