Description

The Leach monument is a chest tomb located in the churchyard about 4 metres south-east of the chancel of the Church of St Peter and St Paul. It dates from the 17th century and is made of Ham stone. The base and sides are half buried, with plain slabs on the ends and flanks. The flat top features deep cyma recta coving. This monument commemorates John Leach, who died in 1678.
