Description
A pair of cottages, dating from the early 19th century, are situated on Chapel Hill. The front facade is constructed of finely dressed ham stone ashlar, while the sides and rear are of coursed rubble. A Welsh slate roof covers the cottages, featuring an abutment to the west and a stepped coped gable to the east. Brick chimney stacks are present. Each cottage has a single bay and two storeys. They contain three-light mullioned windows set in chamfered recesses without labels, featuring rectangular leaded panes with iron-framed opening lights. Boarded doors are set in deep reveals with beaded surrounds, one to the left of each cottage. The interiors are not recorded in the listing.
